For insurance purposes, I need to establish a viable average lifespan of this 6.0 Powerstroke Engine. If you read this thread and own a 6.0, please respond with your current mileage. If you run a fleet, please post your experience of obtainable mileage you have seen from these engines.

Mine had 222022 on it at the time of the accident. I need to establish the basis that this is as Ford Claimed, a 500,000 engine. I have no doubt mine would have made it. Just list mileage, thank you...

As for fleet use I can respond. We had about 150 mixed 7.3 and 6.0 with well over 300,000 miles. And about 30 with over 500,000 miles. In our case tho hrs run were a more accurate determination. They hardly ever traveled very far but ran/idled nearly their whole lives. 12 hrs a day 7 days a week. Really abused in a harsh environment.

Mine is at only 175 000.

Ask over on the .org. Might get numbers you are looking for there. Look up Western Canadian Powerstrokes on Facebook. It's a large following and you may have some reputable numbers that you can attach to names, just remember to convert from km to miles where applicable.

Looks like I beat most of you with the 222K on my '03.

Well, it seems as though the information gathered here will not help my case. Their insurance (State Farm) thinks these trucks are not worth anything... Currently, State Farm has valued my Excursion at $11.7K and USAA has it at $13.9K. Still holding out and trying to fight for more, but it looks like insurance cares nothing about the professionals at NADA and how they value vehicles.
