'08 Differential Cover on an '02...??

Does anyone see any reason not to use the 08-15 differential cover on an 02?? I am getting ready to change out the diff fluid and found that the 08 cover fits on the 02 and seems to be a better option. Just looking for input.

Thanks,

Griz
