Do any of you keep an eye on your voltage using a ScanGuage-2 ?

It gives me a heads up to My charging system.

What are your most common types of failures? Voltage Regulator? Etc?

Because Murphy’s law says a part that you have on hand will never fail on side of the road in the middle of nowhere. Thats why I keep extra hoses and belts, a CPS, IPR valve and ICP sensor in the truck.

I once asked on this forum what spare parts I should carry as a just in case something happened.

The only thing that they all forgot was the trailer to carry all the parts in.

TYC is an OE manufacturer. It is available from rock auto with a lifetime warranty. But the OP said that he didn't want to order one by mail because it would be more convenient to just take it in to his local parts store for replacement when it fails.
