Low mileage 7.3L's. How many are left?

How many miles does your have on it. Mine is a 2002, 6 speed manual and just has clicked over 23000 miles. Always been garage kept. Still has the original tires, batteries, the plastic protective cover has never been pulled off top of the carpet yet that came on it new and 100% stock.

When I hit 1,000,000 miles, I'll do a frame-off concours restoration and enter it at Amelia Island . . .

1999.5 F250 creeping up on 400k.

Check your wiring harness: Chaffed wiring at driver's valve cover.

Keep everyone (and yourself) updated:7.3 mileage and repair thread

If you insist on throwing parts at your truck to fix the problem, go big--don't forget the driver's side frame rail.

If your ICP connector has oil in it, change it. Don't argue, just change it. Don't check other things first, just change it.

I am about to turn 54,000 miles on my 01. Ford dealer offered me $10,000 for it on trade. Decided to run it another 11 years. It really runs like a dream for being 11 years old. New ball joints, manual hubs and anti sway struts @ $1000 and I think it will go easily until I'm 80 years old, if I live that long.

Very uncommon for ANY 2002 model vehicle with 23K on it. JimmyDee, you should get at least $15K for a truck with that low of mileage. Go on kbb.com and see how much it tells you how much your truck is worth. You might be surprised, I know I was.

Not many creampuff trucks with that low mileage on them. If you keep that up, it'll be one of those "barn fresh" antiques you hear about.

You need to take that thing out and DRIVE it!!! It's not happy being cooped up in the garage.

I though mine was relatively low mileage at 150K for a teenaged truck. We have a shortage of roads around here. If I lived down in America, I'd probably be pushing 300K.

My 01 was bought in September 2000 and has 83K. I'd have to question if I needed a diesel if it only has 23K on it. I only pull my fifth wheel once or twice a year and just keep mine to do that.
