I’ve got a 2000 7.3 6 speed that’s been lunging a little bit. I dropped the driveshaft and greased the slip joint and that solved the problem for a couple days, but now it’s doing the same thing. Any thoughts?
Did you check all the u-joints for free range of motion? I had one freeze up on me earlier this year and it caused a horrible vibration on braking. They can mimic a lot of other issues.
Yeah they all seem fine. Except the on the front driveshaft, but that shouldn’t be causing any problems when I’m in 2 wheel drive.
