10 k mod

I did this mod Sun. morn. took all of 20 min. to do, Thanks Ford-Forgotten for a nice writeup. If people are on the fence thinking they would like too try a mod , do this one. The difference in my throttle response was surprising, this is how these trucks should have come stock. My idle is about 750 with no shake so I like it. Try it if you don't like just pop it off. Re: 10 k mod

Substantial? I would say that the gains were not as high as you've heard, but I would say that when I'm getting onto highway that I definately have more mid throttle power than before. I would have to keep pushes into the throttle to get up too traffic speed and it felt like it wasn't getting enough fuel or running out of leg. Now the power comes on very well at mid throttle, and I feel I don't have to keep pressing the go pad to get up to and beyond traffic.

Re: 10 k mod

Now you are getting a small taste of what these trucks can do! The 18K has a little more flexibility and a little more power band than the standard 10K mod. See the link in my signature.
