about to buy upgrades for my truck. will have around 6k to spend.

i am running a 2001 f250 7.3 with 219k miles, currently have a DP-Tuner with multiple tunes,4" exhaust turbo back, k&n air intake.

im about to spend about 6k on my truck and need advice on which to do.

what turbo do you guys reccommend going with. should i get an AIRDOG fuel pump now or wait. or should i add a snowsperformance KIT
i have been looking at the gtp38r but later i would like to upgrade to stage 2 or 3 injectors, head studs and gaskets, hpop, regulated fuel return,

also give advice on what would be better to upgrade now to get best performance

01 f250 4x4 7.3 psd, DEP 4" stainless exhaust w/muffler delete, 5" AFE tip, egt-boost-tuner gauge,K&N air intake,DP-Tuner w/no-start,stock,60T,80E,120Race,140 extreme.

your stock fuel pump is more than capable, of keeping up with the demand of whatever you do to the motor. If anything, do the Hutch mod.

Now onto the spending..., if yuo must have a turbo, go with the T4-s366 set-up. Its rebuildable if/when, se lets go. Then later on, invest in what sticks you want.

The R.R. bowl delete, you could do on a DIY kit, or buy Irate's kit.

HPOP, T-500 is a great alternative. I think head studs and gaskets are out of the question.

First thing to get is a new air filtration system. I am not a fan of K&N in a diesel. With diesels you want lots of fresh air and great filtration either the Ford's AIS or Tymar work best there. If you plan to upgrade the injectors in the future...I would look at the GTP38R. It is a bolt on replacement for the stock turbo. If your transmission is an auto...how strong is it? I've always felt the transmission is the weak leak in the PSD diesels. When adding performance...you should always consider improving the stock transmission too. It wasn't designed for that. Just my 2 cents.

is getting the turbo and up pipes ceramic coated really worth the extra 340.00

Bellowed up pipes are a good investment. And no on the ceramic coating.

I would ceramic coat the up-pipes...not sure if I would bother with the turbo. Yes...get the bellowed up-pipes. Even if you buy new donuts...the pipes might be worn enough they should be changed out. If you are going to all the trouble of doing that you might as well put something in you don't have to worry about.

First you need to see if you have forged rods if you don't you limited to stage 1's unless you don't mind risking the motor.

Get a RR system and post filter..all that's needed unless your trying for over 500HP.

If you have a auto with those miles...stop and get a built trans, BTS or JW.

Tymar intake is advised

If you need a trans that and the filters and fuel system upgrades will wipe out the $6k budget.

We have everything needed to mod you truck correctly the first time. PM or email me if I can help.

Invest your money, wait a few years, and you will have a newer truck by that time to burn money with.

Preferences can change over time Just givin ya a hard time on the pmr rods.

I have seen a few people build a truck up real nice to everything they want only to sell it a couple years down the road.

6.4's also do pretty well without the dpf system. (offroad only remember)

I personally would like to see you swap a C7 Caterpillar into your truck, but im not biased towards them or anything.

i would rather put 40 grand in upgrades in my truck than i had to buy a new truck for 50k
in the future i will be looking to buy a used 7.3 engine and build it with forged rods and everything i need to make 600+ hp at the wheels,
