Exclamation Adrenaline HPOP install and new hose kit - tedious

So I finally got around to installing the adrenaline HPOP I got some time ago into my truck this afternoon. Some 6hrs later took a test drive. I have to say it's a pretty tedious job requiring lots of F bombs.

Tomorrow I'm going to pull the IPR sensor and purge any air bubbles in the oil rails.

So far so good but had a P1690 obd code, I think I may know what the issue is there.

But overall hard to tell really, mostly replaced it as the old one was leaving oil spots whenever I parked up. (running down the valley of the motor)

Not sure if it's pulling harder. Unfortunately it's drizzling rain today and I couldn't find traction anywhere.

I have to say overall the install was a pain in the butt including the larger HPOP hydraulic lines. Took some time to get all the fittings in. Especially the one right below the California model glow plug module. Almost impossible to get a wrench on a few of the lines/fittings. That added a lot of time to the job vs just replacing the pump on it's own. I also left my fuel bowl intact.

So if you attempt this repair make sure to have a good stock of beer and patience.

I feel your pain. I had to do mine twice cause of a nicked seal the first time. The first time I left the fuel bowl in. The second time I took the fuel bowl out made a night a day difference. I suggest to any one doing a HPOP on a 7.3 at least take the fuel bowl out of the way.
