Edge Evolution

New to the site. Just bought a used Evolution, and its VIN locked. What can I do now???? Help

2000 F250 Automatic 2WD, for the most part stock, except for the edge, which is usually set to the tow mode. On my third, yes my third flywheel. And, yes the O-ring replacement on the fuel drain.

Did you buy this new? If so, bring it back to the dealer. If not you got taken. Its Vin Locked because someone is already running it on their truck.

Sometimes it pays to purchase from a reputable dealer. I agree you just got taken unless you know a way to recover your programs from the original owner. You do however, have a good code reader for the price.

You can call Edge and tell them that you returned your truck to stock and it still is VIN locked. Mine actually did that and I bought it new. I sent it to them and they fixed it and sent it back to me in 4 days.
