HD4r100, 6.0 cooler and International bellowed up pipes installed

With the help of one of my good buddies we got my old tranny and cooler out and flushed the lines and got the new tranny, cooler and up pipes installed. It was some work and we ran into a few snags along the way, but with the advice of members of this great site we got it all knocked out. Here are some pics of our fun filled weekend.

I love it so far. But then again I had been dealing with the other one so long I am just happy to be able to back up without hitting 2800 RPMs before 5 mph

Sounds good I am glad it worked out well for you. Let us know if you find any issues with the HD 4R100 from Ford.

I could not believe the size difference between the stock cooler and the 6.0 cooler. I just got my gage back from Autometer so I will have to see what kind of difference it makes.

I actually ended up getting it installed a little differently than the way I have read. I got it in from underneath the truck. Of course this was after I tore up the rubber cover on the top trying to get it off. I just removed skid plate on my Ranch hand and then unbolted the power steering cooler and was able to disconnect the old and slide it up into place. I have a 4" lift on my truck so that may be why I was able to do it the way I did.
