IC Boots install?

How hard are all 6 IC boots to replace? The boots that hook to the intercooler and the turbo pleninum don't look to hard but what about the 2 boots that attach to the heads?

I am thinking about buying the complete boot kit from Bob at DieselSite.

Oh, by the way it would be for my early 99.

Re: IC Boots install?

They're pretty easy, I think the two that attach the tubes to the intercooler are the hardest because of where they are. The two that attach the spider to the heads are easy.

I hate to say it but it would be a good time for another easy upgrade like a wicked wheel while your in there. A couple more bolts on the turbo and the intake and exhaust clamp and the turbo is out. Install the WW or a Garrett BB for a real whistle! The boots aren't bad at all to change. Have fun!
