power pedal?

I've heard from several friends and read something somewhere about a "power pedal" for our trucks. Does anyone have any insight on this? Like what does it do, worth the time, etc?
Thanks-Joseph

Re: power pedal?

Actually there is a legitimate power pedal mod. If you look in the featured articles here on the site there is a how to article on it. Basically what it does is remove the dead spot right as you push on the pedal. Its on my list of things to do, but I'm waiting till its warmer out to do it.

Early 99 F250 PSD XLT, Ext cab Short box 4x4

Engine mods: CCV reroute, DIY intake using Green filter, 4" SS MBRP downpipe, 4" straight pipe exhaust, DP Tuner stock/40/80/120 chip, ATS BB turbo on the way, FASS fuel system

Drivetrain mods: FTVB, Suncoast SD43 TC waiting to go in.

Exterior mods: Putco billet grill, Owens fiberglass running boards, 265/75/16 MTRs

Re: power pedal?

The power pedal mod will work on early 2001's and older or as long as you have two electrical connectors that plug into your pedal. In mid 01 they switched to a one plug set up and as far as I know there is not one available for the one plug pedal.
