SCMT 1705 and Sonnix valve in trans?

Will this cause it to shift too hard? Will I still get the benefit of the Sonnix helping the trans shift right?

Truck is ready for trans flush so now is a good time to do this if that is going to work.

Re: SCMT 1705 and Sonnix valve in trans?

I have a SCMT 1705 and just replaced my Sonnax .472 valve with the new
.500" valve

And went with the new sonnax Accumulator Spring Kit

Its like night and day difference from my old Sonnax valve and Tricuumulator springs, but I don't like slippery shifts

While your at it it would be a good time to change out 1-2 Accumulator Control Valve

and the 3-4 Accumulator Control Valve
the step design improves flow to the clutches and the redesigned retainer prevents over stroking of the valves which I had a problem with on the 3-4 accumulator valve under heavy load.
