shimming FPR, I have 64 psi should I still do it??

I installed my DI fuel pressure gauge today and I have 62-64 psi at idle (it fluctuated a bit). so should I still shim the regulator? and if so whats a good starting point since I don't need to do it too much.

so you guys say 68-72 psi is ideal? I remember when I shimmed my 97 like 4 years ago guys were doing 80-85 psi
