Shutting down when changing chip to 140 setting

Ive been having issues when I turn my ts-6 position chip to the 140 setting, its been doing it sense ive had it put in. im wondering why it is doing this, I have heard that if the contacts arent cleaned good enough, it will shut down. Just wonded what you guys think? Thanks guys!

Early 99 powerstroke
4inch lift, 35inch duratracs, boost, pyro, trans gauges
Straight piped 4inch exhaust, custom air intake, ts-6 pos.

Also could be the switch. I would contact whoever you bought the chip from and see what they say.

2000 7.3 powerstroke. PHP 6 position chip (stock,high idle,60tow,80dd,100hp,no start) . 6637 riffraff filter kit . AIH delete. Oil crossover. 6.0 tranny cooler. In tank mods. Wicked Wheel. EBPV delete. Walker 21470 muffler. Riffraff FRX
