TC Lock Mod

OK, I guess I have to sort of start over here since I cannot reply to one of my old threads. I have completed this mod and it works wonderfully, but I am wondering why the OD light blinks every time I use is. It doesn't matter what speed I use it at or if I have the OD on or off before flipping the switch. Anyone know the answer to this and am I going to hurt anything by using the switch this way???

Re: TC Lock Mod

You will not hurt anything. The PCm doenot like the fact you are overriding its commands, so it flashes the O/D light. I ignore mine, then it goes away after a few minutes.

Re: TC Lock Mod

Thanks Wildbill, yes it does go away after about 20 seconds when I turn the switch off.

Last Fall, I had a friend's dad saying how he would love it if his truck would not unlock the TC when he exited the freeway with his 5er hooked up and now when he gets back from snowbirding in AZ in April, I will be able to hook him up.
