Is there anyone running the FRANTZ oil filter???

I have been looking into getting one of these for my 01 Excursion. As simple as a "roll of toilet paper" seems for a filter, the numbers are quite impressive for as far as the size of contaminants removed goes.

My question is this. Is the "1-roll" size big enough for our engines?
Or should I be looking at using the "3-roll" filter unit? (Large economy size!)

Thanks in advance!

Re: Is there anyone running the FRANTZ oil filter???

CaliEx, I have been using the Frantz bypass oil filter for about 6 months now and I really like how it keeps my oil looking transparent longer.
I have the one roll system that I purchased used from Ebay for a good price. I'm sure the 3 roll system would be even better but, finding space in the engine compartment would be tough. I recommend using the rolls of paper from Frantz because they are wraped tighter. If you do a search you will find tons of info. Good luck.

i have a gulf coast filter, it holds a roll of commercial paper towels instead of the tissue paper, same principle, same result, clean oil 24/7, will be installing a pre/post lubricater shortly, by far the two best add ons you can put on any engine under the skys . period

gulfcoast bypass filter, fuel preperator,
