Transmission Flush after Cooler Upgrade

I have read the flush procedure by Mark and Smokey. And since I will be doing the Mishimoto 6.0 Cooler upgrade and blowing out hard lines my question is how many quarts of fluid would I need as I would be starting with a clean and empty— but larger capacity cooler- or would it be approximately same as the flush write up. Anyone having done the cooler up grade and flush together - feedback would be appreciated, thanks!

Approximately the same, possibly one more quart.

I would do the flush before I put in the new cooler or bypass it so you are not running all the old stuff through the new cooler.

Ouch! $ I was going to switch over to Mobil 1 ATF by Marks reccomendation on one of his posts. But then again, that little stock cooler (7 row?) can’t hold much fluid. I see your logic, makes sense.
