It is still going strong. 20k hard miles so far
I have limited myself to about 360-375hp with a 4ms tune.
I should add that I’m converted to PWM on/off which is harder on the converter.
But I towed about 5k miles this summer and pushed the truck hard at times.
The hottest the trans got pulling huge hills was 180. Going slower in the mountains it ran around 190
Heaviest was a little over 9200 lbs...lightest was about 7500
My local shop used PDQ because they are based fairly close. They supply John wood as well last I knew.
If I was looking for a converter on a budget I would do a diamond T triple disk billet for 489$
KT performance sells them.
Quite a few shops on Facebook sell them and the results have been great. If I come in to some extra money I will probably stick one in and get a race tune lol
