TS 6 position chip, is it programmed? IF NOT?

Pulled my PCM, code is NVK3, bought my TS chip from Riffraff. They asked year model and manual or AT. Pulled chip out of package and card that came with chip doesn't show a default code? If I install and it is blank what will happen. Want to put it in and head home for MO, at my dads in KY.

If it's blank or not programmed correctly the truck may not start. However, if that's the case you can just remove the chip and drive home on the stock PCM until you get things figured out.

Thanks, Riffraff answered my e mail last night, says it is programmed. Ill put it in and see how she works. Is it possible they do their own programming? Good to know I can just remove it. I remember guys talking about having to have dealer reflash thiers for some reason?
