JimTJr, thanks for the info. I actually got it fixed a long time ago, but still good info to know. The problem I have now is that the controller decided to no longer work....no surprise, given that I've had it in every single one of my trucks for the past ten years...time for a new one. I know it's not the truck, because I've checked all of the fuses twice and the lights on both of my trailers work, but when I engage the brake pedal, no trailer brakes whatsoever, even though the light on the controller lights up. I've fiddled with the gain, but it's dead.

Anyone have any good suggestions on a new brake controller?

I know I'm opening up a can of worms with that question, but right now I'm leaning towards the TruControl Gold Electric Trailer Controller by Hensley.

Looks good, and might last around Snow Banks...

Now that it is getting darker sooner , it is about time for me to take some photos of the back of the van with lights off and with the lights on.

Going to be fun adjusting the lights in the back....

Yea. I do alot of snowmobiling, riding quads and taking my truck out on the dunes. Wanted something beefy enough to last and protect the lights as best I could. The tubing is 1/8 wall and the plate is 3/16 cold-roll, sure to hold up to anything i run over or hit!

SvrdRam, Those are some STOUT brackets.

Good looking install, using the hitch tube was something I was thinking about, but installed mine a little bit forward on the vertical hitch supports just below the frame.

Thanks, wanted something that would hold up. Sorry everything was dirty in those pics but it rained earlier . Also if you notice the brown in the seam its black RTV. I stitch welded the inside seam, my powder coater (Bill) told me he's not sure how well he was able to coat the seam so I figured I'd add some extra security agaisnt rust.
