Sun visors

Has anyone upgraded their sun visors on a 2000 year model with ones from a 2011 to 2015 with home link I'm wondering if they're even the same length or if they mount on the same way.

I did my 03 with a pair from a 2011 to get the garage door opener. The power connection is different, so I had to get a pigtail from Tousley Ford. The screw mounting pattern is the same, but the pivot that recesses into the center hole is larger so you have to enlarge it with a dremel. They’re a bit larger so when you swing them down, the driver’s side hits my gauge pod whereas the old ones didn’t. So- not a direct bolt in, but they will work.

Ok, I was thinking perhaps the 2011 sun visors would not be long enough to reach the clips above the rear view mirror where they snap in place. Thanks RT.
