Does anyone know if the Torque Pro app can or will monitor the ivs & apps (idle validation switch & accelerator pedal position switch). I know my AE tool will do it, but i haven't tried the app on my phone. this is on my early 99 PSD. TIA

I don't know about Torque Pro, but I use the app "OBD Fusion" with the 10 dollar extended "Ford/Lincoln/Mazda/Mercury" package with a bluetooth dongle. The upgraded selection of PIDS that comes with the extended package has "Accelerator Pedal Position (V)" and "Accelerationr Pedal Position (%)" so you can read the pedal switch voltage and the percentage. Also in the extra package is an "Idle Validation Switch" PID as well.

Not sure what PIDS torque pro comes with, but I'm pretty happy with the OBD Fusion app if you are looking for one to purchase. I use it with an old Android pre-paid phone velcro'ed to the dash, and have a whole dashboard set up. Only thing I am lacking (that I will be adding with separate gauges) is fuel pressure and EGT.

Coolant temperature doesn't go to the ECU on early 7.3s. More here:

Have you checked out the "Track Recorder" plug in with Torque Pro?

Every time I try it on my Android Samsung tablet, the gages appear OK for a while, then change to "unknown no data."

Has anyone else had this issue?

Torque Pro has a forum, but it seems to be a place where questions go to die.
