keyless entry deactivated

Hello All--

So I have an '06 F350 with factory keyless entry -- It has the keypad on the door. I do not have any key fobs. The previous owner had installed a viper security system however so the keypad does not work. Any idea what I need to do to remove the viper system & can I re-activate the keypad entry? IMO the viper system is garbage and I'd much rather go back to using the keypad on the door. Thanks!

Just for a start for you, I would find the control box for the Viper along with its wiring. Then look and see what wires have been cut and spliced into the Viper box. Then it is mostly cutting the wires out of the Viper system and splicing the wires back together.

However you might end up needing a factory wiring diagram to get everything working again. If nothing else see if you can find a Viper alarm installer in your area and talk to them about removing it
