Thanks for all your help in advance! Driving down the street with a load one day and came up to a red light, the engine started running really rough. Had some loss of power but it would make a loud knocking noise coming from the driver side when i would rev the engine up but not as loud as it idles. Blue and white smoke coming out of the exhaust. Not fun. Took the head off and this what i found.... particles of the head gasket (I assume) or something on the piston closest tranny. What causes this? Here is the pic i took with my phone... When i was diagnosing the problem, i took the valve cover off the side and had the engine running and disconnected the injector electrical connection to that back cylinder and it didn't change a thing. Is that injector bad? what can i do?
