Lift on a 94-97 powerstroke 4x4

hi im looking into buying a f250 or f350 powerstroke extended cab (single wheel) 4x4 94-97 and want to put 37's on it and some other mods but first can anybody tell me what size lift i need? i'm a chevy guy but looking for an old 7.3 i know they are work horses and love the bodystyle and want to lift it a little bit and put bigger tires on it an engine upgrades later on. can anyone help me out? I will be posting more questions if i do get this truck.

I would say no less than 4... it takes 2 to put on 35's and just clear... that is on the 250... the 350 may be different. Good luck

An extended cab will be an F250, by definition. You can make it a "virtual" F350 by swapping the Dana 50 TTB front axle with a Dana 60 solid.

I have 37's on my F-250 with a 6" lift, Dana 60 solid front. Tires do not catch on the front springs (depending on your tires). Something like Super Swampers or a large offset wheel may rub.

96' F-250 4X4 Supercab 7.3L stock on 37x12.50 goodyear wrangler mt military tires, 5 spd, 4" straight piped, 6" suspension lift, Dana 60 conversion, 4.10 gears, custom bumpers, 12000 lbs. Badlands winch
