Starter Solenoid Question/Help

About a month ago I started to replace the positive battery cable on my 96 F350 and I disconnected all the wires from the starter solenoid and pulled out the positive cable.

I didn't direct delayed and by time I put the positive cable back in and got to hook and everything up I forgot where the wires went on the starter solenoid.

when I remove the battery cables originally I broke a stud off the solenoid and went to the auto parts store and got a new one problem is they gave me a 4 stud solenoid instead of the original Three stud like I had.

I didn't know if there was a difference in the 3 stud or the for stud so I just go ahead and put it on the wheel well and attach the wires leaving the the 4th stud empty.

after I put the battery in and everything I realized I did not connect one wire and it comes from the alternator and goes to the starter solenoid but I don't know what post to attach it to do I attach it to the post that's closest to the grill or the post thhat closest to the windshield? I am afraid to guess because I do not want to start an electrical fire or something.

Can someone tell me which post I should connect this wire too?
Also doesn't matter that I'm using it for post solenoid?

Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions you may send my way.

It goes on the same terminal that the battery is connected to.

...and that's the starter RELAY on the fender. This caption explains how to wire it:

(phone app link)

The solenoid is the smaller cylinder on the starter.

One good reason to snap a picture with a phone. Saves a lot of headaches.
