White smoke from fuel tank. Looks like blow by. Any thoughts

Hey fellas, i have a 97 7.3 psd 1 ton with all the upgrades done. Injectors, efuel, turbo and intercooler etc. i have white smoke coming from the fuel tank cap and vent. Havent found much on the 7.3 psd. Anyone have any thoughts? Injector orings? Thanks in advance

There shouldn't be smoke coming from the fuel tank cap. That would be something pretty strange and potentially serious.

Did you mean the oil fill cap on the engine?

Maybe sucking air somewhere and pushing it back through the regulator into the return line.

Is your exhaust leaking and heating the fuel tank. We had a old gas powered pickup with a steel tank and the exhaust was leaking and the gas in the steel tank would actually boil in the tank from the exhaust blowing on it.
