Hey fellas, i have a 97 7.3 psd 1 ton with all the upgrades done. Injectors, efuel, turbo and intercooler etc. i have white smoke coming from the fuel tank cap and vent. Havent found much on the 7.3 psd. Anyone have any thoughts? Injector orings? Thanks in advance
Nah man. Fuel tank. Ive had the bed off. Its a white smoke coming from filler neck and the roller over check valve. Not sure on the sucking air part. I noticed fuel pressure dropped from 60psi to 40 psi. Smoke or vapor what ever it is doesnt smell odd like blowby does. I dont know im stumped
Is your exhaust leaking and heating the fuel tank. We had a old gas powered pickup with a steel tank and the exhaust was leaking and the gas in the steel tank would actually boil in the tank from the exhaust blowing on it.
I was thinking that but It starts puffing smoke 30 seconds after start up.
