Do I have a Chip? Discovered paperwork in seat...

I have owned this truck for a year now, i'm the 3rd owner. I thought the truck was all stock, but I was cleaning it today and found a folder with some paperwork from the original owner. It was stuffed in the seat back pocket and had the following documents. Looks like the truck had a chip from BANKS that was installed at a local shop. Name of the chip was a "Git Kit"... anyone know what this chip is designed for? There is no sign of a chip in the cab of the truck, atleast not in the form of a knob or dial... im stumped.

Letter from BANKS:

List of parts: A Git-Kit?

Install receipt: "Installing a customer supplied computer chip and pulled computer codes for ordering module"?
