7.3L IDI replacement glow plugs connectors

Hello All! Thanks for all the great information shared here! It's been very helpful!
At the moment I am running down glow plugs issues on my 1994 F-250 7.3 IDI Turbo and of course, as soon as I touch them, the connectors all crumbled. In searching for replacement connectors all I've been able to find are the shrinkfit bullet connectors which fit ok, but appear to be no different than any other large-size bullet connector one could find at most auto stores. Has anyone tried these and do they hold up? Or does anyone here have a source of a better alternative since the OEM connectors are apparently no longer made? Thank-you'all!

You might laugh, but a 16 to 14 ga. butt splice connector works quite well. On the end you put over the glow plug. simply cut the overhanging isulation off. They slid on with a firm push, an stay there till you pull them back off, and they are common eough to find easily. (pore folks got pore ways)

yeah, but I always have butt splices on hand, and they have been working for about three years now, with no trouble.
