Lost a hood rubber bumper in engine bay

Was washing the truck today trying to get all the salt off it. I was washing the underside of the hood and near the front are 6 rubber bumpers. Knocked one off in the engine bay and I wasn't lucky enough to have it fall thru. So it's in there somewhere I cannot find it! My only concern is if it's near the turbo and will cause a burning smell. I guess I should fire up my air compressor and start blowing around up there and see if I can dislodge it. Any other ideas?

I knocked another off, but it went flying outside the fender. Wow, those things aren't in there very well at all. Poor design!

Same situation here and I agree, poor design. Its like the "notch" isn't deep enough for the hood bumper to stay firmly fastened.

Glad I'm not the only one... It never did surface even after blowing around in there... I guess next time I get it hot it'll either melt or it won't...
