Diesel swapping a dodge 1500 or ford 150?

Hi everybody lately I’ve been watching YouTube and see everyone putting a cummins in a truck and wouldn’t mind trying it out. Only problem I don’t know what would be easier a 97 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.9 gas in it or an f150 with a 5.4 any help would be great

The front suspension on 1/2 tons was not designed or spec'ed for a 1200 pound engine. That is why you see so many 1/2 tons done with Cummins 4BT. Those are in the weight range of ford-chev-dodge V8s
