Should be in the sticker on the drivers side door lock pillar along with other info like spring and axle codes.

I haven't taken possession yet. I was wondering if it is on the window sticker?
The dealer doesn't have it on the lot either.

There is a web site for fords where can enter VIN will give ALL the details about the vehicle - color, wheels, interior, extras, and build date.

I know in the 2011 models, the dipstick type IDs the build. Those wit flat dipstick are first builds, build 1. Those with round cable like with plastic tip are build 2 model.

By the way, those dipstick with plastic tips are useless, hard to read levels.

I have never heard this. Mine is an early build (MAY 2010) and it has the hard to read dipstick with the cable and plastic tip.

I did some more digging. It appears my truck was built 5-31-18. Anyone know about how long it takes to get to the dealership?
