i would like to know if DOT would allow for removal of the passengers seat in an f 350 crew cab to create a sleeper birth for a single driver owner operator hotshot rig... thanks

i do not see how it would violate any of the requirements of 393.76 other than the restraint system which would not be a factor as the truck would not move while the driver is in the sleeper. with a mattress size of 76 x 25 inches. all other aspects of the regs should be fine... yes no??? thank you in advance.

a. dimensions .. 76 x 25 with a height of 40 inches
b. shape rectangular
c. access unhindered
d. location within cargo area and compartmentalized
e.exit from birth no center console, (more that 18 x 36 to drivers
f. com with driver N/A but more than adequate
e. equpment 8 in thick fire resist foam mattress & bedding
g.ventilation 4 windows
h. exhaust no more risk than drivers seat for fumes
i.Occupant restraint could install if necessary, no team 1 driver?
