6.4L no crank no start, down for a week please help
So to make a very long story as short as possible, my 08 6.4 egr and dpf delete, svt tunner installed. didn't start, heard click but no attempt at cranking. Anti theft light was flashing rapidly, anti theft code gave me 1:6 Replaced both batteries, same thing, but I was able to jump the starter and drive the truck ( very poorly might I add, it would not shift properly) A mechanic and a locksmith (both good friends of my father) told me they believe the PCM is bad. The mechanic wasn't able to read any codes. The locksmith was but after a minute or 2 it wouldn't read anymore... I didn't believe it was the PCM as everything else in the truck worked fine ( radio, gauges, fuel pump, lights ect.) My last shot, I unplugged both negative from the batteries. Put dielectric grease on the pcm clip. Sanded the body for the 3 grounds located just beside the pcm. And the body ground off of the passenger battery negative post. Something told me to reconnect my svt tunner, I did, installed a stock tune, then the custom then again. Crunk fine, no problems. I installed the winch, headlight z and tail lights I had for it. Still no issues. Test drive went fine, got fuel. Shut of the truck, fine. Went to the house to bring the wife back to drive her truck home. Truck is still fine. Stopped at a friends that's in town and go to leave, my problems all started again... it's back dling the same thing... the tuner won't connect and it's in anti theft again
Is there another pcm ground wire I can check??
I'm out of ideas, I dont understand it running fine, breaking down, running fine AGAIN, then breaking down again...
Also, I forgot to say, during the drive to my friends house the instrument cluster went crazy. Looked fine. Then all of the lights would come on ( air bag, check engine, abs ect) for about 10 seconds and it would return to normal, I'm not able to attach the video i took
