Coolant leak, maybe from EGR cooler

I noticed a small puddle under my 2008 today. Looking underneath I thought at first that it was the lower radiator hose where it connects to the engine. However, upon closer examination it appears to be coming down the black metal tube nearby. That seems to go up to the EGR cooler and I think I see a drop of moisture on the aluminum, possibly near a flange. I can't see very well in there at all unfortunately.

Any diagnosis suggestions (besides take it to a shop)?

Thanks!

Believe it or not, we could never find the leak and it went away and hasn't returned. No very confidence inspiring.
