Too much boost

Bought a 08 f350 about 3 weeks ago and maybe I just haven’t noticed it till now but the truck I fill is building too much boost when just driving around town or cruising 35-60MPH around 20-30 psi at times. The truck is EGR and DPF delete and tuned, the weather here in NC has been around 60 in morning times when I go to warm it up and I only have a 10 min drive too work, just wondering if it’s normal or do I need to check something. No codes/lights, besides air filter but the sensor for that gets sucked in if get on the skinny pedal. I think it’s the tune but I’m just being safe.

Yeah, they make boost really well... Especially with bigger tires. I roll a lot of miles, so to maximize mileage i always aim for under 2k and under 10psi with my 6.0. My 450 with its 6.4 and 4.30 axle makes both almost impossible.

2010 Lincoln MKS Ecoboost Ultimate 107,000 miles
2008 F-450 6.4 Crew Cab 4x4 Lariat 210,000 miles
2003 F-250 6.0 Crew Cab 4x4 Lariat 330,000+ miles
2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 175,000+ miles
2001 60th Anniversary Grand Cherokee 195,000(Rock crawler)

I have no idea what is causing your high boost. I have the same year truck and run about 6-10 on the boost when just driving around town. Even at highway, unloaded, speed it doesn't run over 10. Coming through town yesterday with the 5th wheel RV, I only used 30 to outrun a couple cars from the stop light. Unloaded, and up hills, 20 is usual at 55-60 mph.

I'm in Fayetteville.

What level tune do you have? If the sensor for your filter is getting sucked in, it would seem you need better air flow. Maybe a clogged filter?
