The Governor of Michigan is also a babe, America's number-two GILF.
Michigan & Alaska are #1 & #2 in unemployment.
Coincidence?
Granmole a babe? I think not.

AK_Gandy Not a chance.

You have to be a legal resident and a measley few thousand dollars isn't even worth considering giving up golfing between October and May.

As far as Alaskans, they're not doing too bad right now.

Thanks to Palin's little $1,200 "sweetener," each Alaskan resident (man/woman/child) will get a little over $3,200 this year for their Permanent Fund Dividend.

So for a family of 4, a nice little check of about $13,000 will come in October!

And yes, they have to pay taxes on it. Federal only though since there's no state income tax and if you live in Anchorage (and some other locations)............. no sales tax.
Just wondering?

Illinois, California, Mississippi, Rhode Island, and Michigan each had worse unemployment than Alaska in June. Not sure about July or August. Maybe Sarah Palin can change McCain's mind on drilling in Anwar, which will help Alaska and all the poor in the US who are being hit hardest by high oil prices

They must have found some more. Phew!

chuckster57 It was $4.11 (cash) at Flying J in Ripon yesterday on my way home from work. I have noticed it slowly going down, was $4.13 two days before that. Which reminds me I need to go up there and fill up

Domenic I just paid $4.49 here in California today..
09-05-2008 07:26 PM
lone_star_dsl Thats pretty good Domenic, but McCain is against drilling in Alaska.

I hope we get to see her more than we do Cheney! It doesnt matter what side of the aisle you are on, we can all agree that she is a babe!

Back on topic: Does anyone have the numbers of where diesel was at when oil hit $106.00 on the upswing? I thought it was right around $3.60.
