RT Since I posted this, I installed air bags. They have greatly improved my ride.

I installed them on the rear of my 2000 F350 crewcab longbed 4X4. The build quality is very good on the shackles but the ride quality is disappointing. It seems to be only about 10% better and there's not much difference on the expansion joints on the freeway. It's still kidney jarring. Around curves at highway speed it felt like I had low tires in the rear but I checked them and all is ok. Even on straight highways it wanders. I haven't tried towing yet. I have read on other forums that people have had similar issues.
I don't think I would spend the money again.

RT I have them installed on my F250. I was really hoping for an elimination of the kidney jarring ride you get on washboard roads. I would say they improved the ride by about 25%. My neighbor has a long bed F250 without the helper springs. His truck is much smoother than mine, but he pays for it in reduced carrying capacity.

79jasper Not personally, but have typically heard they're good.
Have heard of some having durability issues, but not often.
