were you able to upload the file that showed Ford Owner you upgraded Sync? Mine will not upload due to an error on the website.

ACAMS Yes, I have it off, but the popup saying it is broke still pops up, AND like you sometimes it asks me if I want to turn it on.

I had that as an intermittent problem on my ford mustang with SYNC3. It has only happened twice in the car in two and a half years, and I have 911 assist set to off. The service manager at the dealership said they can't fix it unless it is broken when I take it to them.

I also have 911 assist set to off in my pickup with mytouch. After the latest updated it asks me every time if I want it on.



I feel if I need 911 I'll make the call.

ACAMS THANKS ..... that is by far the most help I have had ..... including from my dealer!




EDIT: Well I googled how to reboot, and I have already done that, I guess I will have to call ....... THANKS!

bugman There is a Sync help phone number in your owners manual that you might try calling.

1-800-392-3673

You might also have to reboot the system.

ACAMS I mated it with my phone, but it still have the popup and it stays on the screen until I click OK.

bugman If you are seeing it on the touch screen it might have something do do with the sync unit that has to be mated with a cell phone.

I get an error 911 Assist fail contact dealer for assistance ..... anybody ever have this problem?
