Manual says you must be stopped with your foot on the brake to shift between 4Lo-High.....not rolling. The truck won't shift if you don't hold the brake down with ESOF.

It's the cooling fan kicking it. When under load and the temp hits I think the 215 range it kicks it full tilt and sounds like a jet.
