Yes I installed it myself. I have the 4 inch stainless steel turbo back exhaust, it was not too difficult to install. I had to keep everything loose when installing the down pipe, very little room to work with there. I tore the heat shield material a little but repaired it. My down pipe is one piece, and it was a PITA to get it to fit right, then making sure I had clearance everywhere. Once installed the big thing was re tightening everything and re adjusting to make sure it was all good. I deleted my Cat, not sure if it helps but I am disgusted with smog restrictions and my truck seems to run better without it. I painted the pipe black,(high Heat flat black paint) from the end until it tucks up over the axle. It looks really awesome. Not alot of trucks like that and it is good looking.

Hey wanted to ask you about your MBRP exhaust. Did you install it yourself and what system did you use? Are you happy with it? The reason I ask is that I've got a ***** of a rattle in my resonator on my stock down pipe and that crap has to go! I'm more curious about how the new 4inch down pipe installs. I believe I'll have to get the 2 piece down pipe since I'm installing myself and won't have access to a lift. The rest of the system sounds quick and easy. Also does your system have any heat wrap or anything of that nature on the MBRP down pipe? The stock system does but so does the firewall so I don't know how necessary it would be. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.
