    I posted yesterday about the truck (1988 7.3 IDI) not turning over.   3. Main and Second Battery ready

    All the wires are in place and it is ready to start. And start it did, with no fire or smoke.
  4. New battery cable terminal

    New battery terminal on drivers side connected to new 2/0 gauge cable connecting positive posts on both batteries. Clamp on terminal, clamped and soldered.
  5. New battery cable connection

    New positive post battery connection on passenger side battery. New 2/0 gauge cable, marine style battery terminal, 2 each 2/0 gauge crimp eyelets and one 4 to 6 guage eyelet all soldered on.
