Researching on this site, I think my transmission is gone...but before I go down that path $$$ I wanted to see what you all think.
Backing down driveway into street, stopped, but in drive,..nothing engine revs, no visible indications of problem just no go. Like an idiot, rev'd it a little and got a little fwd movement. I thought it was the gear selector so tried reverse. Reverse is good. Put it in 2nd and it moved just enough to get it back up driveway out of the street and I shut it down.

What do you guys think?

If I did trash it, do you think my gearvendors contributed to this failure? I run DOD at times at low engine rpm/ 1500.

I'm looking at Ford 4R100HD , local rebuild, or BTS. Thoughts?
I have DPTuner F5, and GV, among other mods. See Blackout member profile (lost pw and can't get it reset)

Thanks for all replies

If you haven't revved it too much when it wouldn't engage, there is a small chance it can be saved. These symptoms can happen if the clutch feed bolts loosen. They are above the valve body. You have to remove the pan and the valve body to get to them. If they are tight, then it confirms this trans is done.

I threw in the towel and ordered a BTS through CaryT. So no updates on this trans. Brian has it now.

Update:
BTS with 6.0 cooler and dieselsite filter kit. Trans runs so cool and strong, love it!
Weakest link on these trucks eliminated.
