Hey guys, I got a question for you. I have a 2002 Ford F250 with the 7.3L and I have to have it plugged in almost constantly in order for it to start. Yesterday I took it to work and all day it was over 50 degrees and sunny. From 6am till noon at my lunch, it cooled off enough to struggle to start again. Is there a sensor that might need to be replaced for that or are my injectors worn and I just always need to heat the oil. She starts like a champ in the morning if it's plugged in all night. Plug it in for about an hour, and she starts right up either way. Just don't have a way to plug it in during a 12 hr shift at work. Thanks for your help! Oh and it's got two new batteries, and new glow plugs.

Did you check the GP Relay ?

Your symptoms are typical for a failed GPR, although typically at ambient temperatures colder than yours.

It would still be the first thing to check.

Cheers
