I just went to the ford dealership and purchased a key fob for my truck since it did not come with one when I purchased it. My truck will go into program mode but will not connect to the key fob.
Also have a problem with my locks. They work perfectly fine when the doors are shut but will not work right once I open the doors. This happened a for both driver and passenger doors.
I have taken it to somebody to diagnose and have been told that the security module is bad and that I would have to go to the dealership to have them fix it.
I have talked to a dealership about it and they explained to me that they don't think it's bad and that they think I just have a connection issue.
Is this why my key fob won't connect?
Any insite into this problem would be very helpful thank you.
