While replacing the icp on my buddy's 03 6.0 i broke the ipr connector. I ordered another one on ebay but i couldn't get it plugged in if my life depended on it. I am wondering if there is a difference in the plugs on the 03 6.0's vs. the later model 6.0's and they maybe have sent me the wrong connector?

The original had the wire loop to retaijn it and the new one has latch tabs on ends of connector? We are talking about the two wire IPR and not 3 wire ICP sensor?
I have more trouble getting the two tab connector aligned to plug in but it should go unless it really isn't the right one.

no my new connector also has the wire loop retainer and is a 2 wire but I have fought with it for an hour and it won't go in...
