i was driving my truck tonight and it ran fine until the gass pedal had very little response and it was basically idle and lots of white smoke coming out the exhaust i have no idea any input would be appreciated
you have an injector sticking and when then engine cools a little at idle its not burning all of the fuel . when you start driving again the temps go up and the fuel is burned so it not as visible unless you are at an idle . the egr has an effect on this problem , but will not stop it . will help clear it up . you can try pulling it out and cleaning it off . if there is alot of carbon on it it sticks and will be stuck in the middle of open and closed .
