the other day out of the blue i come out of the store and the truck wouldnt crank with the key so after determining the batteries arnt dead i start it by jumping across the post at the starter to get it home. test all the fuses there good, swap relays it doesnt help, got power out of the ignition switch at the colum into the fuse box. the only place i dont have power is on the wire coming out of the fuse box to the starter solenoid... is the fuse box bad? i just wired up a push button switch for now so i can get around... any suggestion?

if you have an automatic then check your park/neutral safety switch under your dash. I had this problem on my explorer and found that one on the bolts holding the switch in place had worked loose. This wasn't allowing the switch to make full contact and was causing a no start situation. Hope this helps!
