..to make this grill fit on a 04? Anyone have some numbers for me? Pics would me nice too...I dont plan on changing the headlights yet..just the grill. It will go on my 2004 Excursion.

I believe it is 1 3/4" of an inch off the bottom, this leaves about 1/2" - 5/8" on the lower horizontal member. I would apply two layers of masking tape mark it and cut about 1/8" from the line with a dremel tool and then belt sand to the line. I bought mine from the dude on Ebay, that way if he cracks or chips it, it is his dime not mine.

Ebay 2005 grill...can anyone measure the bottom for me?

Anyone with a aftermarket ebay 2005-07 grill wanna measure the bottom of the grille so I can get a idea of how much to trim?

Thanks Kevin....I was hoping someone would chime in that has actually trimmed a new grill and knew exactly how much to trim. It sounded as if you "believed" your numbers were correct. Measure twice cut once you know.

You may want to work up to that 1.75" .... just in case...??
